UFC Tour

Today I had a visit by some UFC fighters and Octagon Girls.

Joe Lauzon, Andrea Nede, Jorge Rivera, Amber Nicole Miller, and Heath Herring were on tour down here and I had a chance to get pics and autographs.

A Verse Unsung

On my birthday I was able to go to a concert for a band called A Verse Unsung. The band was great.

They were formed in Minneapolis in 2005 featuring Jake Scherer (19), Dan Garland (20), Kenny Fritze (18), and Matt Brady (21).

Comedy in the Sand

Last night I was able to catch a show with Scott Kennedy, Howie Nave, and Graham Elwood.

The Show was great and even made fun of the Wing Commander, who was in the audience. Scott Kennedy has been featured on Comedy Central several times and has even been named one of the top 100 comics of all time. I was even able to get a pic with them and get the autographs.

Kuwait

I am now in Kuwait. I had to take a convoy over to my base. That was kind of scary. The weather is hot, usually in the 118′s to 120′s. Being on the ground gives you a better perspective of what is going on especially after you talk to a couple guys to collect more information on the area.

Since being here my eyes are now open, I now realize that our political reason for being here is not oil but for pure Kuwaiti Sand; it all makes sense now.

Germany

The weather is nice and cool here. I am only here for a bit, a two hour layover, in Ramstein AB.

We flew in on a plan that has to be at least twenty years old, complete with vintage leather seats and all. It was a B-767-300. I will try to get some rest and recharge my laptop on this 220v German socket.
