Setup RIS Server

Requirements: DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory.

Okay, on the server go to Add or Remove Programs. Install the RIS service (Windows Deployment Services).

Once the server has rebooted, run RISetup.exe

You need to install the image on a separate drive for performance and security reasons.

The wizard will prompt you for the Disk location. It can be a remote location.

Then proceed thru the wizard till you reach this screen:

Just give it some time. Soon you will be able to load an OS on Several PCs over the network (perfect for laptops without CD ROMs).
